Youth Club Insurance

Since 1996 BJK Insurance has arranged an exclusive insurance package underwritten by one of the countries leading insurance companies, for Youth Clubs and Youth Organisations.

By the nature of the activities undertaken today by Youth Clubs and Youth Organisations, and the age range of the membership that they cater for; we have had to ensure that our facility provides excellent insurance protection, underwritten by a reputable insurance company at sustainable, excellent value premiums.

Our expertise, experience and technical knowledge, coupled with the partnerships that we have developed with the County Youth Associations has meant that we are now recognised as being at the forefront in arranging insurance cover for Youth Organisations in the UK.

Cover

We offer a Combined Liability package, which covers Employers Liability including Volunteers with a limit of indemnity of £10 million and Public Liability with a limit of indemnity of £5 or £10 million, Personal Accident cover is also available as an optional extra.

We are proud to announce that there are a number of exciting new policies from which to choose from this year including: -

Small Contents Package

We now have a small Combined package that provides cover for Contents, Stock, Money etc, specifically designed for Youth Clubs; and with premiums starting at as little as £175 per annum it’s well worth a look!

Legal Expenses Insurance

We are all aware of the "no win, no fee" claims culture that is prevalent nowadays and, in response to many requests and enquiries for Legal Expenses insurance, we have successfully negotiated a special scheme rate with the Country’s leading legal expenses insurers, DAS. The normal standard premium is in excess of £100, for cover in accordance with the summary, but we have agreed a total premium of £20 for our clients.

Charity Trustee Assurance

What is Charity Trustee Liability?

This cover will give peace of mind to your Charity Trustee’s whom all have personal duties and responsibilities in the management of the Charity, which have been laid down by law. Any breach of duty on their part may result in them being held personally liable, for any loss falling upon the charity as a result of their own errors or omissions, or those of their co-trustees, employees or agents.

The Charities Acts have imposed obligations upon Charity Trustees, highlighting the trend towards greater responsibility and accountability for those who hold such position. BJK has an insurance policy that specifically covers the principal liabilities incurred by Charities and their Trustees. The cover can offer security to your Charity Trustees, Directors and Officers to help protect against personal losses. Certain losses falling upon your Charity itself will be covered, either because they are not recoverable from the Trustees, or because they arise from specified ’professional services’ provided by your charity.

Youth Club Insurance

If you are running a Youth Club our insurance will be available to clubs who have members from ages 5 to 25 years old.

We cover Play Schemes, which operate for holiday durations, i.e. Summer Holidays, Christmas Holidays etc for members ages 5 -25 years old.

Drop- in Centres/Cafes Insurance

We can provide cover to Drop in Centres and Cafes that are open to 5 - 25 year olds
